So I recently broke down my 75G reef tank in order to go back to freshwater. After spending an hour and half scrapping all the coralline algea out of the tank I carried it about back to hose it out. After I hosed it off and brought it back in I noticed a small chip. The deepest part of the chip is about as thick as the thickness of a finger nail, but most of it is as thin as a sheet of paper or thinner. The chip is on the edge of the front piece of glass about 3/4 of the way down. Let me know what you guys think.

Yeah my 70 tall has tiny chips like that and holding water^_^ has been up a few months now.

Should be good.

I know a lot of people say those tanks are ok. I had a 210 gallon, but it had a few chips a little larger than that. It ended up in a thousand pieces and I ended up with 210 gallons of water on the floor. There's a lot more pressure on a 210 though and my chips were larger. I'm sure it'd probably be fine.

I have tons of chips outta my 10gal sump some spots I can even touch the silicone seal =S. It still holds fine for now tho.

yeah..is it a standard 70?

my 70 tall has about 4 of those chips about 5 inches from the bottom. on each side..and its 36x18x25...so allot more pressure from being so tall and its holding water perfectly and has been for a long time now.
