These are some photos of the concrete tank my dad and I are working on. It is currently in a "dry run" stage, to make sure all the interlocking parts fit together. It measures 48x30x18 inches, about 110 gallons.

Very Heavy. I calculated whole thing will weigh roughly 1500 pounds when it is full.

This would be cool if you could have a 5000 gallon version of this as a modular fish tank. Such as you have forms built on a house property and then have cement trucks come and pore the cement for it. Or you could have trucks deliver the sections of the giant fish tank to the house to be built.

I wish! It is only that small because that is the biggest tank my mom would allow in (or near) the house. I initially wanted it to be 72x30x24.

Cool idea. Did you just use plain concrete and make forms? Give us the details.

You git it pretty much dead on. I used plain concrete, about 6 bags of it. The molds were made of that dense pink insulation foam that I don't know the name of.

very cool. Make you wonder what you could do with an outside pond application.

Wheels are turning now!!

Makes me wonder if acryilic could be done this way, with interlocking panels.
