Small Discus BIG EYES RANDOMLY

I have 6 Discus in a 65 gal. tank.
And they've been sick (hydra) and I used this new medication today which the hobbyist suggested (he's been doing it for over 30 years)
Anyways my small guy had normal sized eyes now they're huge...

Are they still sick? how do you know it is hydra?? What medication is being used? The fish looks slightly stunted, which is not uncommon when hobbyists start with younger fish. What kind of water changes are being done?? Post some tank parameters/info on the setup and lets see if we can help.

Thanks Guys I really appreciate it. But he passed away but to let you know anyway... All tank parameters absolutely 0 tests done 3 times daily 50 % water changes every second day.. and the medicine being used is: Metronidazole (purchased at hobbyists store.. he swore by it)
