Small Dovii gender

Hi, there.

I'm from the Philippines and have just received 10 dovii fries at an average body length of 1.5 inches (just the body, excluding tail).

Out of the 10, only one seems to present itself consistently with the chain of lateral black blotches, while the nine others just have a single blotch on the side of the body near the center.

I am wondering if there could be some gender implications in this, or perhaps it's too early to tell.

I think about this because of the possibility that I might be raising either nine females and one male or nine males and one female.

Any feedback would be great.

Too early to tell. You will have to wait until they get bigger. Out of 10, you will definitely get a male guaranteed. Just be patient.

yea this is too small to sex at this small size...let it gain some size first then we may be able to give you a positive male or female on your dovii
