Ok So most of you know I have a 6-7" GATF He's doing great in his own 125. but I'm wondering if there is anything that I can stick with him? so I'm wondering what you guys cohab them with? I'm thinking of shutting down my two 125s and moving the fish to my new 220. If I do this I won't be able to have the motoros I want b/c they would grow to fast for the GATF. and I don't want him to get beat up or killed.

so what do you cohab with a small ATF?...... safely?

I'd consider a Tigrinus. There real mellow. Would look real nice aswell, And be safe with the Goliath for life.

Yes sir, He's coming along well to bro.. Come see him.

As to other's it's just hard because, They tend to grow so darn slow.. Something that look's pretty good is them Sleeper Goby, As they grow Big they get some insane color. And you can pick them up at RJ's for 8-10 buck's all day long.. At about 4-6 inches.. Hell i have a fat one you can grab for next to nothing. They get 15'' easy and never be a threat to your Goliath.

I keep my gatf with a dorado, a silver dat, and 4 vatf.

You got any pics of the tank? and how big is the dorado compared to the GATF and VATFs? b/c that's about the stock I was thinking and I was worried about my dorado going after the GATF. they are both around the same lenght but the dorado is a little bigger maybe an 1.5" longer but much thicker. And I just don't want him to go after the GATF.

They are about the same size. The atf will fight among themselves but the dorado is like the equalizer who chases all of them to keep the atfs in check. You can always put them together and observe the aggression of the dorado, but I doubt the gatf can absorb the pounding by itself in the long run.

very nice. If I had a larger group Of ATF I would be more willing to try it. and if the dorado was smaller. What are your plans when the dorado gets larger then the AFT? that shouldn't take long.
