Small guys finish last

What is your favorite small C/A cichlid, there is always a lot of talk about the larger fellas and I think the small guys get left out.
Mine is the good old convict. Get a mating pair and you gust can not beat them.

gotta go with cons too. very underratted cichlid in the color department. they can be very pretty fish, especially females.

I love cons also, because they have more heart than most of the larger fish. They will protect their babies and territory from anything.

Archeocentrus Centrarchus, I absolutely love these little guys.

Thorichthys elliotis. Very underrated fish, but beautiful. And fun. They live in all levels from the bottom to the top of the water level. They sift sand, pick food off the top of the water, even jump out of it to get food. So lot's of interaction and diverse behavior right there.

I just ordered some Red Head Tapajos. I was going to get some Firemouth, but I thought these had awesome coloration.

cons are great,they probably switched many fish keepers to cichlids.i want to get sajicas again too.they were just as fun as cons,but less deadly to each other
