small indo dats and ph change

Hi. I'm looking to get two 3" indo. They are kept in pH 6.5 and my water is ph8. Do I need to set up a separate tank to acclimatize them to my pH over a week or so?

Nah just drip them in in a big bucket slowly for about 30 minutes. That will help acclimate them to the PH

Very few fish care about Ph. Dats are one that doesn't.

just drip acclimate them and they'll be fine. i kept my dats in water that was 8.2 ph for a few years
