Well, now that I am settled with the new home, I gave in and setup a 40g in the basement. not looking forward to water changes considering there is not a faucet down there. but I really like the setup otherwise
I have grown to really like the simplistic setups, and I am running a Marineland 200 watt heater and a Penguin biowheel 350 filter. I like the heater because it is all black and not ugly like some of them can be, and I am a strong believer in the filter based on price and efficency and ease of care. I also added a nice layer of brown topfin small gravel to the bottom.
My stock is simply going to be one 3-3.5" Xanthic Amphilophus Xiloaensis from Jeff Rapps(as always). I asked him to pick me out an all white male.
