Hi,
some of my cichlids have got small lumps on there tail and pectoral fins, they look like white/clear bubbles. I first noticed it on my rainbows a few months ago but as it never got any worse i forgot about it. Now my Texas, GT and Sal seem to have them. They dont bother the fish but i dont want it to escalate. My parameters are PH 6.8, Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 40ppm, and temp. 26oC.
Can anyone identifiy this problem please? Thanks

im not sure exactly what it is but id look into melafix of pimafix there nonabrasive and should clear it up... probably some sort of fungus also add salt and turn the temp up

Im sure its not a fungus, it looks like part of the fins. Will try get a pic if they keep still

Do they look anything like this?

The small white bumps at the base.
