Has anybody ever had SMB with Peacocks? I had SMB for years but never with Pbass. Thought I might try it.

as long as they are not to small youll be fine / cause ive had smallies with everything and as long as the other fish arent to small/ they do fine together / but sometimes certain fish will beat up on the smallies /trust me ive seen it with my own EYES

trial and error my friend.. i believe in some cases it can work given tank size and size of fish..
the other day i went to the river to catch smallies and i see a little fish swimming to shore really slow. Iknew he was a smallie so i net him and hee seems fine but i knew something was wrong because the water was cold and he swam right into shore so i take him home quick because ive always wanted a smb as a pet. when i open the bucket hes dead. it was a sad momment.
Smallies like cold, pbass like it hot! Don't combine these two completely different environments. Smallies like cold creeks, not warm fish tanks.
I think based on the fact that most NA natives prefer cool water vs. pbass that like hot water, that alone would be a consideration...but who's to say it can't be done? If you do try I'd make sure you have plenty of water circulation/oxygen!
yup, colder temps and plenty water movements...I know that I had no problem keeping my LMB with pbass!!!
