Small P.Aethiopicus ay thing to be awhare of?

hi guys, this is not my first lung but is my first small african, have a small sal, doing ok until sh bit its tail but looks to be recovering well! my wal is 15" and i got it around 12".... is there any dif raising a small african to a sal?

do you mean Aethopicus or Common West African Lung

Aethiopicus gets twice as big as WAL's do reaching about 6ft. and are supposed to be twice as aggressive as commons and the one thing i've noticed about my MAL is that they usually tend to take live food and the gradually switch over to eating prepared which could take months

I got my MAL back in Nov. i think and he still takes NOTHING but live and ONLY in the middle of the night in PITCH darkness i still am getting NO daytime activity out of him what so ever

BUT THIS IS ONLY MY LUNG AND IN MY EXPERIENCE I HAVE SEEN 2 LUNGS ACT THE SAME YET

im getting a MAL, got a WAL and SAL, i no about size and temperament... daylight issue is easy to fix.... 24/7 lights on for few weeks, then only feed in day....
