So I'm new a new member but not new to the site, been around aquatics a few years now and a a turtle keeper big is normally the game and MFK is more than big lol. Anyways onto my small build idea. I first found out about plywood tanks here at MFK and never considered building one until now. I'm looking to actually downsize my collection and started thinking how could I maximize space without cutting back to much on volume. naturally a custom corner tank came to mind. so a plywood tank was a natural cost effective idea.
My planning has brought me to a 3'x2'x43" base at 42" height the idea is open top maximum viewing and I want to see the waterline. I'm Thinking 2x4 framing for the front glass panel 3/4 inch oak plywood on the rest. I'm Planning tank and stand to total 6' in height. Its not 1,000 gallons but what do you guys think? Do able?
