small question about gar tank mates with small rays

i've had my stingray for about 3 weeks now. she's pretty well aclimated and used to the tank now. i was jus curious if anyone ever had any issues keeping small retic stingrays with larger gars. do they see a stingray as a meal or jus curious about its weird way of swimming? i really want my ray to have the full 6x2x19"wide space of swimming but not if my gar will harm her. thanks n sorry for the noobish question, jus wanted to ask b4 i remove the devider

I have a spotted gar in with my rays now for about 2 years now. The smallest ray in there when I got him at 11" was a 7 in. motoro. they never bothered each other at all. they have been great tank mates. I hope that helps you.

it helps, but my ray is only about a 4" disc. prolly almost 7-8" with the tail. i jus dont wanna see her get chomped on.
