ok so i know ive made a few of these threads for my still unsuccessful mature breeding pair of cichlids, but ive got a new pair from a group of 8 small ones i bought a couple of weeks ago and theyve been digging a pit under my heater, i dont know whether theyr trying to get to the bottom in which case it might be best if i help clear some gravel away as theyr still pretty small and i have a large layer of gravel or will they lay in a pit on the gravel?
they paired up today from what i can see but not sure and the dull one has been keeping the others away from the bight red one and in the pit theyve been vibrating against each other for a while now since observing them. breed soon?
