Hey guys my redtail is to big im looking to get rid of him and get a smaller one if you have one tht is 5 inches and under please hit me up thanks i have money in hand just want the fish.

sooooo, u want to get rid of a fish because its too big and now get another of the same until that outgrows ur tank too? hun thats not right.
maybe forget about rtcs and get a smaller cat?

no thats not what im doin i just got a bigger tank and i just got him to and i dont want to upgrade tanks for now i jus upgraded and my mistake was getting him so big because i didnt think i was gettin any other fish but that changed

I wouldn't get another RTC until you have a tank that can hold him....and you're talking a huge tank. Like thousands of gallons big. I wouldn't do an RTC in anything smaller than 6x10x4 and that's pushing it.

Also, a 2" RTC will be 24" in 6-8 months if fed properly.

he clearly is tryin to say his RTC is to big for his other fish to be with so he has to get a smaller one so they grow together DUHHH waz dat so hard to understand

LMAO... depending on what type of fish he's keeping the RTC will most likely catch up and surpass some of the other fish. Putting him in the same situation. I believe people are just trying to make sure he's properly educated. Also what size tank is it? Im thinking its too small anyway. Anyway, not to derail call Aquarium Depot and ask for John. He may be able to help you.

This. either way he is going to eat your other fish. unless you have a pacu or Aro's. only other fish you can keep him with is feeders.

I have an silver aro rtc and aligator gar
they in a 75
if i had a small one i would have time to get a bigger tank but the fish came with the tank so i took and by the time he get bigger he'll have a bigger tank
