how about Mourning geckos gets like 3" very easy to breed and stay small panther gecko would out grow the 3g but I think a 10 could work
also not realistic but just found these guys smalles in gecko in the world Jaragua sphaero only gets half a inch

ya did not think you would be able to but still cool creatures I suggest you look into the mourning geckos for the 3g get about 3" and reproduce like crazy
Did think about them. But like you said they reproduce like crazy which can lead to problems.
You can house a single green or brown anole on the 10. That would take care of the mourning gecko problem.
You can always fill the 3 with water and go with 2 or 3 dwarf frogs (not reptiles , I know), they are small and fun.
There are also Pygmy chameleons but I’m pretty sure they are really hard to keep and Chameleons can’t be in glass cages.

I don’t see why you couldn’t stand the tank differently. I think they may sell door attachments for the front/top that would work like a screen.
