well I am finally setting up a salt tank again after many years... but this time it's very small... gonna try my luck with a 12 gallon salt tank that probably wont end up with anything more than some inverts and a small fish... maybe 2... I would like to experiment with a nano reef but I haven't had any experience with corals so figure I should probably get my larger set up going with all that before I try it on a smaller, more difficult scale.
As for this little set up though, all i have in it right now is a single green chromis who has been living there happily for about 2 weeks now. I plan on throwing some live rock in once I get out to a city where i can actually get it and will go from there and see what else I can do with that small space.
for now.. here's my cute little chromis

he freaked me out the first day i brought him home.... stuck himself to the top near the filter and i thought for sure he was dead... after i had been so careful to make sure my salinity and every was right... but he wasn't gone, just scared from the transfer i guess. He adjusted rather quickly though and has been very active since then. I have a small koralia powerhead in there and he loves swimming into that current

lol, yeah chromis are not the very best fish for transport. but im glad everything worked out for you. i heard a lot of stories of people buying chromis and them dying so its good that hes alive

I couldnt ever get my chromis to die...I got so sick of them.

They were even sucked into a marineland canister filter and they were in there swimming around the canister. None of them died.
