Hey all, I'm trying to gather suggestions for some colorful and/or active fish to add to my tank. Preferably something that schools (hell, I'd love to find some live anchovies for the tank - that'd be really cool). I figured before asking my LFS for suggestions, I'd get yours.

Capo suggested jackfish or snapper (these will all end up in the BIG tank next year). A woman from the MBA suggested some colorful wrasses or a bumble bee grouper (too aggressive), or a big lion fish. Clearly, I like to go with the less pursued route, so let me know you're wise ideas. And where to get them.

Thinking now maybe some golden trevally or island trevally. Very cool looking.

Bluezooaquatics in the misc. Fish section has lookdowns, barracuda and golden jacks. Plus banana fish which are a little less common as well as flashlight fish which are cool as he'll. I believe all of the above are schooling fish.

10000 exodons lol

Yes! Nothing fills your marine tank like 10,000 soon to be dead freshwater fish...

Ok, back on topic, my fav. would be Pork Fish. Fusiliers are cool too.

Check out divers den for flagtail grunt trio on page three I believe. I've seen schools of these guys before and they are pretty cool.
