small tank fill...29gal cichlids

what are other decent sized cichlids that can be housed with a firemouth in a 29gallon...the firemouth right now is 1.5-2 inches...let me know if you got any ideas. thanks

Only thing I can think of is a pair of convicts. Maybe only one with that firemouth.

Only things I could think of would be maybe a salvini a couple convicts or jewel cichlids. (I know they are technically Africans) You might want to buy a few more and find a couple that pair up then sell the rest back that would also be cool.

blue acara; convict;jewels;geophagus;nicerogenise;those are a few of the smaller cichlids of the same temperment.

i had a 30 with 1 firemouth 2 convicts and 2 jewels, this was back in 99, but they got along fairly well, not much aggression
