small tank stocking ??

ok i got this 10 gallon half circle tank and i just wanted to know what i could put in it that could stay in there its entire life i dont want shrimp or a planted tank so that out of the question i have never stocked a tank this small before lol all questions comments ideas are welcome

i wouldnt want to try any iverts beside maybe snails lol wass thinkin maybe a small school of neons or cadinals but what else could i out in there with them ?
