Please let me know the size of your fish and price you want for it :). I've never had one, and when I try to find out info on their temperament, google only comes up with fishing sites. Anyone know if this is a good fish to keep with datnoids, a softshell turtle, and a jardini?(kinda hoping they aren't too aggressive although they do appear to be pretty aggressive). Thanks guys :D

not aggressive at all have mine w/ african pike, payara scomb, silver aro, catfish, and others. make sure tarpon is same size as others

Just a head's up. These guys require a little salt in their water as they age. Nowhere near that of a brackish tank, but more than your run-of-the-mill FW tank.

hmmm dunno if my is consider "old enuf" yet.... its 17" in full fresh no salt : ) hes squishy though, doubt it can withstand blows from a jardini ....
be aware that there r two types of tarpon though, atlantic n indo. mine is indo. for atlantic, tainted glory is right, salt would prolly help although ive seen a 4ft one in full fresh ._.

i might be able to get the atlantic ones for u , my lfs sometimes have em ...

My jardini is pretty mellow. Never seen him bother anyone so he shouldn't pose a problem. As for the atlantic tarpon, how much would you be able to get it to me in NY for?(I might not be able to get back to you until tomorrow, gotta wake up really early) Thanks for the help :)

its gonna be like 100+ shipping or somewhere bout that, not at all cheap. shippin overnight cost like like 50-70 . i could do next day , but never actually tried that, that is just 20 bux. and even if u r serious, it takes a while for the lfs to order from the wholesaler....
