Small tigrinus catfish not eating.

I just got this 3-4" tigrinus catfish yesterday. He's only been in the tank for about 24 hours. I tried sinking carnivore pellets and bloodworms yesterday but he didn't show any interest in them. So today I tried small pieces of cut up shrimp and tried hand feeding him but had no interest in that either. What should I try/do next? Or do you think he's still getting settled in?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

More time to settle in. Maybe give some shelter instead of being out in the open like that unless you have some wood/decor.
 
Yeah that's what I thought, thanks. And there's a little den that I made for him. He was in it yesterday but today he's decided to stay out in the open.
 
I was told he was eating shrimp and small feeders.
 
Small tigs to best in small tanks. I've get yourself a small breeder-box type container to isolate him and help him get established. As far as feeding, I've always used a turkey baster to introduce food to new tigs. Start with live blackworms, then transition to seafood and pellets over the first few months.
 
With my old Tigrinus, I handled earthworms initially. He wouldn't eat anything else. After getting accustomed to my hand being his meal ticket, he would readily eat anything I offered

Well it's been 72 hours since he's eaten. I'm starting to get a bit concerned as he's not the cheapest fish either. He also seems to stay up at the very top of the tank where my marinland 400 filters overflow is, and also swims on the glass from one side of the tank to the other for some reason? Seems kind of strange as I thought most catfish usually lay on the bottom or hide somewhere. I do have a 26 gallon bowfront that I plan on putting him in to but I've got to sell some fish in that tank first.
