Ok well sunday i'm bringing my future inlaws to the lfs I have been going to for the past 6-7 years or so. This will be his first trip to a real fish store (not petco or petsmart) in a idk how many years... I recently traded in some fish for him so he has $20 credit when we got. Not sure what he wants to get but we will see.

I have put up a couple threads about adding a african cichlid to my stocklist. I have a firemouth, bichir, and a dempsey. I wanted to add a buttis but I dont want to put my other fish in harms way if he becomes a killer. My next and favorite choice is the frontosa which i new nothing about until recently. My local fish store has them for 15.99 for babies while the other lfs has them for 24.99 at the same size. Thank god we are going to my favorite lfs where they are cheaper. I know it will work because I will have the ph where both fish can live in and the lfs said that like most cichlids they will adapt and thrive if everything is kept where it should be.
