Hey guys what was easy to get your baby TSN eating? And also what is the best to bump up his/her growth at first, its a wee laddy at around 2" Just curious what you fed them when they are tiny. Appreciate any and all responces! Thanks much

I have an rtcXtsn that I got at the end of may. He was 2" at the time (11" now.) Initially he'd eat feeders and nightcrawlers. I've gotten him 100% off feeders and have gotten him to eat thawed frozen shrimp (with cichlid pelets stuffed in them,) nightcrawlers, whitefish fillet, and squid.

Currently working on getting him to eat immitation crab and other stuff to give him a more varied diet.

I also got him to eat chicken liver, though I didn't like messing with it and won't feed it to him anymore. Kills the water quality very quickly and is a mess to work with.

Hope this helps you some (=

try frozen krill, blood worms, ect. If you do blood worms mix them in a teaspoon with water and use a dropper to suck them up. Put them in front of the tsn and squezz them out. I haven't seen too many baby catfish that will refuse blood worms.

frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp, also beefheart and definitly live food, picked mine up in aug at 2" is now 8" in oct. will eat damn near anything!!!!:headbang2  :WHOA: :screwy:
