Hi guys,

The picture below is of a young flowerhorn which I got about 2 weeks ago. The other flowerhorn that I got off the breeder has no dots on any of its fins. Anyhow, I noticed that he/she had these small white dots on the tail when I got it and have tried salt treatment and praziquantel treatment however nothing has changed. The water temperature is currently set at 28C. I have highlighted the area of concern with a red box.

Picture of when I first got it

Has anybody experienced this? or know what the parasite is?

Appreciate any help

Thanks

Its hard to tell but could it be some damaged fin spines, have you ever seen that where you can see little white bumps

ive had rd in the past with these, just a white lumpy dot that never gets worse? never goes away either... if its the same i'd also like to know, i thought maybe just a genetic thing, slight deformity or summit... scar tissues maybe? dunno. anyone else had these.
