So as the title says during feeding a few minutes ago I noticed a thin, thread-like what I think is a worm hanging from its dorsal fin. The GT shows no other symptoms like flashing and is eating heartily. There isn't any redness or damage surrounding the attachment point either. I don't see any other fish with this symptom other than a few fish from time to time flashing.

So if it is a worm what kind is it likely to be? I have Kordon's Ich-Attack which claims to be effective against all sorts of parasites, would this work?

Are you sure it's not a piece of fin dangling? Does it move on its own or just sway in the current?

It just sways in the current. I've never had a fish with a worm infection so I am not sure what to look for.

Thinking about it, it could be a piece of skin since my female con is savagely chasing everything in the tank, might be a bit roughed up.
