Small worms squirming around, good or bad?

sounds like planaria, your tank is probably too dirty or you are feeding way too much. I would cut back on feeding for awhile, clean the gravel / substrate really well and do 25 % water changes every few days, no need to add any meds or salt. Also clean your filters in tank water, but not too much.

Definitely sounds like planaria. This happened to my snail tank where I placed a huge chunk of cucumber in there to feed the babies and later on I see thousands of these white things swimming around everywhere.

Agree with what ward said - water changes, water changes, water changes - definitely helped me get rid of them

planaria is quite common to tank.
Guys some times i see blood worms in my tank
even
i havent fed them
still
dont know where they come to the tank.

Okay, just for those who care, and I'm not gonna argue again, but nematodes are what wiggle freely in your water. Planaria are flat worms that crawl on the glass like slugs. But they have the same basic role in a tank, so all recommendations are valid.
