Smaller bichirs with bigger ones

Can anyone tell me if I can put a 6-7" delhezi with my 13-14" lapradei ? I don't really wanna risk it if my lap can eat it the lap is my first bichir this big so I'm unsure of mixing the 2

Just keep the lap well fed. I have some 4"-5" sens with a 15"-16" koliba with not problems if the koliba is kept well fed.

Depends on your feeding regime. If you use feeders then you may have an issue
Like Dr B I have mixed extremes- grow outs go in at 8 " with 20+" bichirs with no issues

Key avoid live foods and keep well fed

I have 1 11" gar in the tank am 1 13-14" lap in the tank I had the gar in my other tank wit my smaller bichir so I not worried bout him .... I feed night crawlers to the lap and gold fish/ minnows to the gar sometimes the lap grabs the gold fish b4 the gar other than that it only eats night crawlers
