any others? i just want to know wat all the cool lookin g ones are that way i dont buy one eel and regret not getting another one i liked better but also just for educational purposes i know i will have a jeweld moray but want another one that stays around the same size
Zebra Morays are cool as well, and they aren't a risk towards your fish because their diet almost completely consists of crustaceans.
The wolf eel(18 in.), white eyed moray eel(24 in.), yellowhead eel(24 in.), chain eel(30 in.), and jeweled moray eel(24 in.), among others. Sorry if some of these have already been posted.
Dragon eels are expensive and get a bit bigger, up to 36 inches, but are awesome looking.
I have always wanted to keep a tank of just garden eels. These keep most of their body in a deep sand bed and stick out. A group of them look like seagrass at first glance. Very cool to see. They are very hard to keep however and have specific requirements. You also need a bunch of them to make it look cool.

Saw a tank of them at the aquarium of the pacific...where thisissimple and I were feeding sharks...wish he would post pictures...

They have em at the Shedd as well. Definitely stopped for a while to enjoy em. Really, really cool. I wonder if you could get away with keeping anything with them. I don't recall anything else in the tank with them at the Shedd.
