Smaller pima in 4500 gal, ~16"-18"

No 1sthand experience. I'd imagine if no one fits in the mouth and throat of the other, they could. I can't say I ever saw this combo kept together, which is not to say no one does it.

i think your exhibit is the best example of 2 apex predators sharing the same space, idk what the wild behavior is for paima and wallago but i would think they would be minimal interaction between larger fish of the same species, but ive always wondered whats going through a fishes head when it comes up against a potential "worthy adversary"
the 4500 with the jau and the late piraiba also comes to mind too
