I need to get a catfish to hopefully cleanup a little in my cichlid tank. I currently have a jd, mayan, red devil, texas, and a jag. I am looking for a smaller species that can still hold its own in this tank(not become food). Thank you guys for the replies.

A Pictus won't last a day in there.
A syno is a good pick. BUT - if you want the cat to clean up poop, it WON'T. Nothing does that. That's where OUR responsibility lies.
