Smallest Adult-Sized Stingray?

I dont know about ALL FW ray species, but as far as the south american rays; scobina, hystrix, and reticulatus seem to get the most votes for being the smallest.
 
so max size for one of these would be..........6"? Bigger or smaller?

When I clean my 180g with a sand bottom, put my hand inside the tank to clean between the glass and sand. I'll bet you can get stung by one of these rays...........has anyone here been stung recently?
 
THe smallest is fully grown around 12" around, the length could be the same or way longer depending on the species. Retics AKA the one i have GET VERY LONG TAILS! heres some PIcs...By the Way 180 Gallons is big enough to breed these, just make sure u have nothing too sharp in the tank..And you wont get stung unless you harass your ray, theyre not mean fish...

most other rays besdies these get atleast 20"+ AROUND

You had 3 options so far, Retics, Hystrixs i think and Scobina.. everything else is like over 20" easy that i know of.. im telling you look at these pics of rays on this link... they have some cool pictures... Also my Retic was 50$ i got 2 only one made it, Ray Ray died, and Stingy Is large and in charge...usually other stingrays besides retics ar eover 100$ too.. i was told to order a motoro from my LFS would be 250 for a pup, with a no guarentee!!! so F that
 
Unless you harass the ray, you're in no danger of getting stung. I was stirring up the sand in my tank while doing a waterchange and brushed one of my rays tail (scared the hell out of me) and it didn't sting me. Unless the ray feels threatened, it's not going to sting you. Good luck.
