So I decided to fish for some itty bitty guys to put in my 120 Gallon tank. my tank temp is at 78°f and the lake temp was 75°f so no probs there. I caught 1 2 inch largemouth bass. I qt'd them in a 20 Gallon (hence the pictures), but after I put them into my large tank they were less skittish. My sunfish sorta got what the flake food was once my Serpae tetras ate and nibbled at some flake food. Should be easy to get them to accept flake. My bass however will not accept any of the worms I give to him, they sink to the bottom and sit there, until I take the worm out of the water. Any ideas on how to get him to accept my food?

Pictures!

Didn't even notice as it was squirming in front of his face.

Just to let you all know his tank mates are:
4 2.5" giant danios
10 1.75" Serpae tetras
5 1.5" clown loaches
1 4.5" gourami
3 1.5" gouramis
1 3" pictus cat
1 12" pleco
2 2" sunfish (caught with the bass)

Everyone seems fine, I'm worried about the bass, but I did manage to get him to eat a fat fly. I'm not worried about my fish because my loaches will get much bigger and the rest have a pretty good school that seems to discourage any hunting. I don't trust feeder fish from my LFS since they have parasites, so I might try a female guppy or two, but worms should work well.

Maybe if I turn my "moon" light on in the tank and turn the lights out in my room he might be more aggressive?

i had one of those. 2 inch bass that kept biting my line. i cought it like 3 times. i felt it biting again, so out of frustration i set the hook. instead brought in a 19 3/4 massive rainbow trout!! had a hook jaw so it was just nibbling the line.

Day 2: the sunfish have started to color back up, not fully, but theres more color. The sunfish will eat flake food readily, so no issues. The bass seems to eat the flake food and spit it back out, but still will not go for the worms. If he does not eat in more 2 days, I will put him in the QT tank, treat for parasites and then dump him back into the place I caught him(private lake).

Is the back edge of his tail white? If so it's not a LMB, but a spotted bass. It's a little difficult to tell where the jaw ends but it looks like before the back edge of the eye. Where did you catch it? Reason I ask is I have an Alabama spotted which is a different species than the normal spotted, but look very similar.

When those sunnys get bigger they will also try to make meals of the smaller fish or atleast harass them. As stated before, a native tank would be a good idea.
