What is the smallest diameter freshwater ray out there?? And based on that size what would be the smallest tank necessary to keep them happy? I got a 90 gallon but it doesn't seem like it's wide enough. I'm thinking about a 120 maybe

only ray you can keep at full grown in tanks usually is a reticulated stingray. get about 14" disc or so not including tail but still require a 2ft wide tank to be comfortable. so a 180gal which is 6x2x2 but try to get them a 240 which is 8x2x2. but wider is better. a 4x4 bin would bee ideal for stingrays. height isn't too important but give them a decent amount of height because they like to wander

this question is asked so frequently it should be made a sticky or FAQ. smallest rays are hystrix, scobina, retics, all slightly different sizes. if you do a search you'll find a lot of info
