Smallest Gar tank size?

What the minimum tank size for a Florida gar? It's not like I'll get one anytime soon, but I always wanted to know.

I have mine in a 90 gallon and he will outgrow it when he gets 14-16" imo and then I will put him in a 180 gallon for life. I think that should be fine... Maybe even 125 wide... As long as you keep a width around 4-6" longer than your fish you will be fine. This is just my opinion

A standard 180 gallon aquarium is considered to be the minimum aquarium size for an adult Florida gar.
