What is the smallest species of freshwater ray and what size tank does it need? Do you know anywhere where i could get one?

i had a hystix ray its one of the smallest freshwater rays. i had him in a 125. i think their discs get about 10 in

Im looking into getting the Potamotrygon Scobina, hysrix, or reticulata. Where could I purchase one? Would they be ok in a 125 (72x24x17tall) for life?

Ok. Where could I get one of the ones I said above?

I found some on pet solutions. They have the hystrix, motoro, and florida freshwater. They're all out of stock though. Hopefully some will be in soon. Is the florida freshwater truly freshwater or is it converted?

All rays are "converted" they all started out as salt water and have swam into rivers and adapted or evolved to live in freshwater. if its an alantic ray them they will get big. so will your motoro. good luck finding a true histrix. most are labled that but are ussaully just retics. retics do stay smaller. the biggest one i have had was only about 11''disc diameter. they just aren't as hardy as the motoros. good luck.
