i dont think too much is known about that speices i dont even think anyone has one of those right now. But i do know RiverWonders was selling them for 650$ ea. a while back

I think this is where the nigromaculata ended up, http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148127&highlight=nigromaculata compare that to River Wonders pic of them http://www.riverwonders.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=155 their site says that it is similar to intermedia and fishbase, however innacuarate it is, http://www.fishbase.org/summary/SpeciesSummary.php?id=62989 and here world discus says they are similar to monoculus, http://www.worlddiscus.com/cichla/nigromaculata.html so I guess it is true that there seems to be quite a bit of confusion as to what they really are like... I wonder what became of those ones in that post though...
