Hey I have a 26 gal bowfront with a 55 filtration and i have heard that these fish are very slow growing. I was wondering how long i could have a 2'' datnoid in there before i have to upgrade to a 75 long.

Thanks!!

Please bare in mind silver tiger are a brackish water fish so will never grow to full size in fresh water it will probably only ever grow to 10-12 inch

Others are going to tell you tb
They do fine in fresh water but I don't think that's the case

Get different tigers silvers are the only ones I would say need brackish water

It should be ok for a little while, it would be best to upgrade before it reaches 3"-4" imo. Great fish in my experience, they do fine in fresh but T1 is right they do better in brackish.

An Indo can, not for life but because of the growth rate it could for quite a while.

Yes, it would be better suited in a tank with more depth once it gets over 12"-14" but sooner is better.
