Smallest type of sunfish and where to get it?

Hi I am wondering what the smallest type of sunfish is and where could i get one thanks

Would of been better to post in the coldwater/natives section. I don't really know a lot about sunfish but I know bluespotted and banded sunfish stay pretty small, around 3 inches. They got ones called pygmy sunfish, though not true sunfish. Only way to get a hold of them is through the internet or catch them yourself. But make sure you know the law before you try collecting. I am not sure these fish are wild in your area though, they are abundant mostly in florida, alabama, south carolina, georgia etc.
