smallie with a fin rotted?

so my SMB's right fin is rotted. how do i cure it? anyone?

oh the other day i cast netted a baby smallie mabey 3-4 inches with that problem i brought him home and was dead

Try salt. It has work for me in the past on smb, lmb, and sunfish for the same issue. Seems like all I'm posting about today is salt!
