IN YOUR HEAD
small mouth bass whos got them?

do you have them off live?

how big?

how long have you had them?

mine is 7" long. have had it since the beginning of this year(i will find a vid of the fry with the date). it has never eatten live even when i offerd it to it. i'll try to get a pic of it up.

post pics/vids of yours

i just lost mine recenty =(
but i had him for a long time, what i did was starve him for a couple days/weeks and then chopped up some hot dogs(i know unhealthy). after he got used to eatin hotdogs i would stick pellets in the hot dog chunks and slowly rmover the amount of hotdog met until he was just taking the pellets as soon as they it the water, good luck with your little guy. I got him in the lat spring when he was about 2" he grew to 9" before he died of an ich infection about 3 weeks ago

sick set up man. i've already decided if any freak accident happens im going back to native keeping.

I have a bunch of smallmouth bass in my pond. These bass range in size from newborn fry to full grown 18"+ adults. They eat whatever live food they can find in there.

I also collect some of the fry on a yearly basis when they're around the 1" mark and keep them for a bit. I usually have them on frozen bloodworms with a few days of having them in an aquarium.

no offense but your going to need a bigger tank than that 29 gallon (probably wrong though) from the looks of it with that aro and the smb. just FYI not trying to flame you

were did you see a 29gal? the super small fry were in a 55gal to start. then the other vid is a 120gal. it has since been placed into my 180gal witch i don't have a vid, but i took a few cell phone pics to put up after i get them loaded. i know how big they get i have caught some 22" smallies and seen much larger. i know what i am doing. i have it in the 180gal with my 23" silver, 22" florida gar, 15" SAL, 14-15" enli endli bichir, 14" ornate, 9" sens bichir, 5" IT dat and the 7-8" smallie. not being defencive, but just letting you know i am not the kid next door.

anyway lets see them smallies!

its eye is not cloudy, it is just my crappy phones light that makes it look like that. it just ate so it looks deformed.
