Hello to everybody,
I love this fish and I would like to put some in my little pond.
Anybody could you help me to understand if is possible to buy some smallies and to transfer them to ITALY?
And if YES, where?
thank you very much.
Roberto

Roberto sorry this post is late, Smallmouth need cool temps, usually clean streams with cool waters or deep lakes that have somewhat rocky bottoms, unless your in the Mountains in Northern Italy I think a Smallmouth in a pond would be a bad idea....Check with the Italian government if its legal the Spotted Bass would be perfect for a pond that's 400+ gallons.

Thank you Musky,
I live in North Italy, close to the mountain, and the water can go from 2° ( ice on the top ) to 25° celsius. The water comes from a little, usually clear, water.
What do you think?

I think if your legally allowed to keep them, they are awesome fish....but they can get aggressive in the spring so you would want them in a fairly big area,to stake out a territory and in the summer they also like shade., how big is your pond....and PS Welcome to MFK
