dude, my baby florida water snake (about 7 1/2in), which many of u know of, has only been in captivity for 8 days

and he is already begging, and accepting food from my hand (as of 12/7/08)

idk, seems unusual to me lol

its probably be cause hes so young, he never really learned to have a fear of humans in the wild

agreed, it would be a different story if it was an adult

I would make vids if you can.Remember that we are not just here to have pets, but to study them too and share our personal research with the herp community.Im trying to get a camera soon so I can share more but things like that are worth filming if you already got a cam.Sounds cool.

He just got lucky because even CB as a whole are mean hot tempered biters . Not all ofcourse like his but rare not the rule.

Some snake types are just born that way its instincts and water snakes are one of them.

feeding by hand might not be the best idea if you intend to handle him when he gets bigger. It does sound like type of water snake you can handle which is great as not usual for them to be so easy going.

lol, thanks guys, i will film it, and send a link a soon as i can

from day one, he was never hiding, hes out 95% of the time

btw vicious fish: there are pics of him in the "BABY WATER SNAKE QUESTIONS", thread i made
