smashing face into tank

i just posted about the white dot, but he keeps ramming full speed into the side of the tank. Whats the problem?

You can use tank backing or tinfoil on the end of the tanks so that they know it ends there.

Ya i had the same problem with my rbps I just used some black tank background and covered the ends of the tank. Now they cant see their reflections in the glass so they have stopped doing it. How big is the tank he is in, or is there more than one p in the tank.

just read this it might help if the lighting in the room is brighter then the tank the fish see a reflection if the other way around they see thru the glass maybe the lights not bright enough in the tank or turn on a light in the room ..
just a thought
