came home from school to find my smb had another fish hangin out his mouth. at first i thought it was the small eclipse cat that i just put in a few days ago.(the eclipse is now out of the tank and in the 55gal.) when i saw the eclipse runnin around happy i knew that wasnt his tail i saw. i realized that it was actually the smallest of my yellow perch that ive had together with the smb for about 4 months. it amazed me because this yellow perch was about 4 inches and the bass is just hitting 6 inches. its still hangin out of his mouth and i dont know if this is dangerous for the smb? id hate to lose both fish in this senario.
The tail should be fully devoured shortly. Ive had it happen with LMB before, just make sure it doesnt go on for more than a couple hours, I doubt its lodged and stuck though
