Just set up my new 135 on Tuesday of last week.. it is now Sunday..5 days up and running... I used the bottled cycle to cycle my tank.. its the way I always did it with every new tank setup.. always was fine. The tank has a smell to it now.. maybe its nothing, I don't have the proper canopy on it because I had to order one and its not in yet..so for now I only have a piece of glass , so there is about 11/2 " open in the back .. suppose its just the normal smell of a aquarium that I am smelling ? Just want to know if I should worry or if I should do a small water change ? I have 3 clown loaches and 9 baby bala sharks in it... no I'm not keeping all of them... they were on sale and I got them with no tax... so knowing that I will probley loose some , I got more . All the fish seem to be fine.. I only feed once a day , at night, and only shrimp pellets.. What do you guys think ? Should I do a water change or just leave it alone ? Do you think I"m just worrying to much about it , that its probley nothing ? I only have a kit to check my ph ... and my ph is perfect 7.5 . Please let me know , what I should do or shouldn't do.
