never really thought of it before but anybody had trouble with combining these two addictions never thought smokeing around tanks was bad but you learn something new every day i'm not much of a smoker mabye once a week but i wounder anybody had trouble with there tanks cause of smokeing around them ?

just trying to see what every one thinks to all the young members reading this you may be more worried about your parents then your fish when it comes to smokeing so please don't think i'm trying to get you to smoke this is just a question mainly for the older members

Don't smoke around your tanks, especially if you use air pumps.

smoked around all my tanks for 15 years and never had a problem with breeding growing raising fish or plants. Even smoke in the same room 20'x20'x8' 200 gallon tank smoke cigars and smokes like crazy and drank too...

You would think, that it would have to affect the fish, to some extint...

Don't smoke around lungfish... they might get LUNG-CANCER... lol...

I quit smoking 6 months ago... feel better for it too. I cant say i saved any money as a result, but i don't smell like an ashtray anymore.

From cigarettes that taste nice to iceberg ice....My gang has smoked everything around my prized tanks in the past....I was still able to breed pygocentrus Natts, for the first time, with such conditions floating around.....Of coarse, most of the time I leave the garage open to vent right away(I live in a nice house, not stinky)....But now I tend to leisure in the tranquilty of my backyard porch.....
