smoothhounds in 11x7?

Got a line on a 1500 gallon tank with around a 11' x 7' footprint. If I put some sort of acrylic in to break up the corners, could a tank like this be able to keep smoothhounds?

Yeah absolutely you can keep one for awhile in that size! Get the tank and send us some pictures!

Thanks for the replies. I wouldn't be able to get the tank inside without taking the door jam apart, so if I can't keep smoothhounds it may be more trouble than it's worth. Plus I live in the middle of nowhere so it would be a nightmare to try to rehome one. I know there's the pool option, but I can't go bigger than 8'. Looks like I'm just going to have to get smoothhounds out of my head. I see them listed for sale all the time. I can't imagine everyone buying them has a public aquarium sized tank.
