Hey guys. I've never owned snails before so please bear with me as I'm new to keeping them and know little about them.

I have a 30 gallon housing 3 gold inca snails and a school of neon tetra's, some corry cats, a ghost shrimp, a badis, and a trio of female bettas. They've (the snails) been in the tank a little over a month now.

Last night, I purchased a giant ramshorn snail (pictured below). This morning, I see what appears to be tiny eggs laid on and under the leaves of one of my live plants. Are these snail eggs? Could they have possibly just come from the new snail, or is it possible my others were breeding?

My second question is that if they ARE snail eggs, what can I do to ensure their
well being and sucessful hatching? Here are the pics..

I would put them in a separate container to hatch ,just in case the bettas decide to eat them

Those are exactly what my Rams horn snail eggs look like. I let them be and they do their thing. If you DONT want more snails then just reachin and pull them out. I remove 4-5 sacks a week. Usually leave one sack in.
Have been selling them here for $3 each when they are nickle size.

Do nothing but leave them alone!!
they are snails so thier shell will grow with them.
and they do grow fast

Howdy,

Just a little heads-up: According to my experience, ramshorn snails eat plants! I actually had to throw mine out because I wanted to maintain a planted tank...

Six months from now I can see the new thread: "How do I get rid of a snail infestation?" lol
