So I've had this snail in my tank for around 2 years. It grew from a tiny little girl to a golfball sized girl. Will I. Went to do my water change today and was startled by a creepy looking slug-like creature on the bottom of one of my plexi lids. Upon further inspection it looks to be a pile of snail eggs. I heard they lay their eggs up out of the water, well my tank is drilled so the lids are pretty much the only place up out of the water. Here are some pics, hopefully you will confirm my suspicions

I think this is the culpret!
 
i would kill them now unless you want an outbreak
 
getting rid of them, leaving them to hatch in my 220 CA/SA, or putting them in the 36 bowfront so I can keep better tabs on the population.
 
First thing would be to see if they are fertile?
